In response to the current situation regarding the Covid 19 virus in the UK, we understand our guests may hold concerns.
We at Lakeland Inns would therefore like to inform you about the extra health and safety measures we are taking.
We have reviewed our existing cleaning and sanitizing procedures in order to ensure that we are doing all we can to protect our staff and customers and restrict any potential spread of the virus.
Our Pubs are deep cleaned and sanitized every day, additionally shared areas and high touch points are sanitized frequently throughout the day.
Antibacterial hand wash is available in all our toilets & hand sanitizer stations are available by the entrance and at the bar.
We encourage guests to pre book tables to avoid disappointment, however if you have not prebooked we will require your details before we can seat you.
We strongly recommend booking hotel rooms on our standard rate which allows for free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to arrival. If you do decide to book a non-refundable advanced purchase rate we recommend taking out travel insurance prior to booking.
You will notice our restaurants are not set as they normally would be, this is to ensure tables, cutlery and glassware are not contaminated. We will also be providing our customers with single use salt & pepper sachets to limit any risk.
Our staff wear protective masks at all times and will maintain a safe distance from guests, we require customers to please do the same when not seated at a table.
Full table service will be provided by our friendly team throughout your visit.
Before visiting please ensure you are aware of the tier restrictions currently in place and follow all guidance set out for both your area and ours. By keeping a reservation with us you are confirming you understand and will adhere to these.
Despite these precautions, there remains an element of risk. We kindly request that guests and customers take personal responsibility for themselves, follow the kill it, catch it, bin it guidelines and do not visit if they are showing any symptoms of the virus.
Please do call us to cancel any tables or rooms booked with as much notice as you can give.
One of the main long-term problems faced by all local businesses is if people stop going out altogether, so please if you’re not Unwell, do continue to support local businesses as best you can.
